Christ Lutheran Church was built in the neo-Gothic style in the early 20th century and housed a large congregation until the 1980s. Smaller now, the congregation still continues to serve its neighborhood through Word and Sacrament and its health ministries.  The nave of the church is impressive for its soaring height and its beautiful stained glass windows, only one of which is visible in the photo, and a fine pipe organ.
